Brandon joined Squire in 2002 after earning a Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and Master’s degree from the University of Utah. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Global Chartered Management Accountant designation from the AICPA. Brandon’s focus includes individual and business tax planning, consulting, and compliance for business owners and closely-held companies.
Brandon is a graduate of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s Leadership Academy and currently serves as an AICPA Council Member representing Utah, where he is a member of the Board of Directors at the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. He recently concluded an assignment on the AICPA Tax Practice Management Committee. He is a frequent presenter for the AICPA and UACPA on the latest tax issues and tax practice operations.
When Brandon is not helping his clients, he loves to spend his spare time with his family, playing and watching sports, camping, and trying to learn new things.

About:
Gregory O. (Greg) Hyde, CPA, PFS, CFP® became a tax partner with Squire as part of its merger with Pinnock, Robbins, Posey & Richins, PC (PRPR) in 2018.
Greg was awarded Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy degrees from Brigham Young University in 1997. He was with Deloitte’s tax and financial counseling services groups in Seattle and Salt Lake City from 1997 to 2001. Greg then worked for PRPR from 2001 to 2018, becoming a partner there in 2011.
Greg is the past president of the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council, has served on the boards of the IHC Foundation for Homecare and Hospice and Primary Children’s Medical Center Planned Giving Committee, and volunteers in various other community and youth organizations. He enjoys many outdoor activities, including snow skiing, camping, boating, and hiking along with his wife and five children.

Adam worked with Pinnock, Robbins, Posey & Richins for 16 years before joining Squire in July, 2018 when the two firms merged. Adam earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Utah State University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah. Adam specializes in partnership, corporation, trust, and individual income tax return preparation and planning. Adam enjoys assisting his clients with entity restructuring, business transaction planning, and small business accounting services. He focuses on helping privately held businesses, their owners, and families solve problems and reach their financial goals. Adam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants.
When not helping his clients, Adam enjoys the outdoors hiking, skiing, and fishing with his wife and children.

Garth Simpson serves as a Certified Public Accountant at Squire and is a member of the tax committee and business valuation team. He assists in training and support for new staff members and is an expert in state and local tax, with an emphasis in sales tax consulting. He specializes in business and personal tax returns (S Corporation, Corporation, Partnership returns) and helps set up retirement plans, performs tax consulting, and assists in tax planning for companies with general and specific accounting questions and needs. Before coming to Squire, he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
Garth is married and has three boys, watches movies and sports, likes to go hiking and fishing, and enjoys completing puzzles.
